Lamas (2024) is an example, and focuses on the passionate love between two girls, played by Ataska Mercado and Christy Imperial.

The film is set in a small-town bakery, and the main character is Mona, a beautiful girl who feels trapped under the rule of her domineering father Adon. Lina, a new employee, shakes up Mona’s world and awakens her desires. But Adon has other plans for his daughter. Torn between duty and passion, Mona must choose her own path.
