Dramas like this explore desire, agency, and the working lives of women, albeit in wild, often inappropriate ways. Sex comedies are often misogynistic, and this film loves it. Nikkatsu has made many sex comedies that are often lighter. If you want to see Nikkatsu’s unsuccessful version of this film, watch “Story of White Coat: Indecent Acts.” This film is a nightmare and relies entirely on its surrealism, breaking down the family unit, marriage, school, boyfriends, and friends.

The film follows a high school girl, a girl on the cusp of adulthood and curious about the world around her, who often has bad days. She is disciplined for disrupting class and sent to clean lab equipment. Feeling horny, she uses a test tube that looks like a penis to satisfy herself. Unfortunately, a passing teacher discovers her and proceeds to discipline her with additional devices. She suffers as a succession of teachers inflict various humiliations on her. She eventually escapes home and finds that her ordeal is not over yet as her parents decide to give her a rather depraved sex education.
