The film follows Jason, an avid marine biologist. One day, he and his wife Abby travel to Pola, Mindoro, where he is assigned to lead the restoration and conservation of a fish sanctuary. There, he meets his diving assistant Dennis and the two quickly find many similarities. As they work together, Jason learns about Dennis and his family, and Dennis is moved by Jason’s passion for his work. They also find themselves facing conflicting issues when Dennis gets his girlfriend Tanya pregnant, while Jason and Abby have been struggling to have children for years. Over time, Jason and Dennis develop feelings for each other, eventually giving in to their sexual desires.

In this 18+ film by Viva, director Mendoza decides to shoot the main scene during the first sexual encounter of the main actors, which they are not prepared for. At first, the two are alone on the boat in their diving suits and do not care about anyone else’s business. Then, suddenly, they face each other and kiss passionately, all without saying a word.

When it comes to the dramatic scenes, Gumabao and Rillon actually do a good job with the roles they are given, despite their awkward sex scenes. However, the characters of Versoza and Bermas are stuck with the stereotypes that are so common in Filipino movies. As usual, Irma Adlawan stands out as Dennis’ pragmatic mother.
