Sean de Guzman is a young and promising face of Vivamax, he debuted in 2021 and received high praise from experts. After that, he was assigned a number of quality roles, and the male lead in The Influencer is one of them. It is only his second leading role in 2022 after “Hugas” at the beginning of the year, but de Guzman has shown that he is excellent. Quinn Carillo sits in the screenwriter’s position, a young but potential name, and this is the third time he has been credited as a screenwriter after two other Vivamax works, “Biyak” and “Tahan”. The film revolves around the character Yexel Santos (Sean de Guzman), a very famous person on social networks. He posts videos of himself with various products and they always go viral. He hangs out with a group of vlogger friends, including rich kids Anna (Quinn Carillo) and Andrew (Karl Aquino). Yexel is very popular with female idols, but because of that, he always has one-night stands.

One night, Yexel meets Nina (Cloe Barreto) at a bar and in typical fashion, he takes her home, to an apartment he borrowed from a friend to have sex. Feeling that Nina is different from other girls, Yexel calls her for a second date. From then on, Nina starts stalking Yexel, even confronting other girls he flirts with.
