Lovely, melancholy and heartbreaking, these are the truest words to describe this film, it is good and touches the viewers’ emotions. The story opens after the party ends, all the main events have happened before it opens. These are old materials that cannot break their mold, that is, the unemployed man loses a girlfriend to a jealous lover only to end up with someone who in a way could also be her, the bar owner tries to start a new life in the suburbs but actually forgets the way there, one walk there is not enough to rewrite the body’s lifelong memory of how to get to the nearest bar.

The film revolves around Kasumi (Kyoko Hayami), the owner of the bar “Tsumi-horoboshi” in Shinjuku’s Golden-gai district. A woman appears (Shoko Kudo) who seems to intend to drink to forget her past. A bar regular (Yuya Takayama) takes an interest in the woman. Meanwhile, Kasumi’s boyfriend (Takeshi Itoh) has a past with the woman at the bar.
