While definitely not a brutal action film, Woman’s Killer Rampage is actually a romantic comedy about a nice guy who can’t catch a break because his goofy friend keeps getting him into trouble with his wife. Oddly enough, the film also has supernatural and martial arts elements, and it’s all very random and meandering. It’s also very cheap. There’s really not much to note in terms of production/visual design. Alex Fong, Billy Lau, and Carrie Ng give the whole thing more respect than it deserves.
The story begins with Chun Ti, now married and working for his uncle. Out all night drinking (although Chun Ti is mainly there to keep his uncle (Fong Yau) company and not really into drinking and partying), who really just wants Chun Ti to come in and be unfaithful to his wife Lilly (Carrie Ng), Chun Ti runs into his partner Paul (Billy Lau), who works as a tourist information agent for Japanese women who want to have sex with Chinese men.
